High on a hill above the village stood a lighthouse. Its beams of light were a warning for ships to stay away. There were treacherous rocks below.

The people that lived in the village were celebrating as they waited for visitors to arrive.

The lighthouse keeper was an old solitary man, he shut the window and then he heard an unusual clanking sound, suddenly the entire lighthouse plunged into darkness.

He decided to wander up the stairs to investigate what had made the loud noise. When he reached the top of the stairs, lighthouse keeper struggled to lift the lamp that had extinguished. He stepped backwards and tripped over his toolbox that was sitting on the floor. He looked outside the window  and saw a boat, and heard its horn blasting. He felt worried for the boat.

 

The old solitary man went down the stairs as he had thought of a solution! He opened the door and he saw 100s of people from the village marching towards him with their lanterns in hand. They fortunately surrounded the headland and became a source power for the lighthouse. The were able to warn the ship away from the treacherous rocks!
